Stop in for a cup of coffee

Saw something like that happen at work in Memphis once. The first warning was water shooting out of the storm drains 3’ high and within 5 mins the parking lot was under 4’ of water. I was outside when the storm drains started spouting and got in my car and headed to higher ground. About 1/3 of the cars in the lot never made it out and were floating down the street. A giant surge of water came down the Missipppi river and blew out the levee near work.

Yeah it’s amazing the power water has sometimes

I watched some videos of cars being washed away, pulled into the river.
Then downstream was a jam up of wrecked cars.

Ok folks, going to hang out with Doug...

He bought me Easter dinner at Olive Garden and Binney's was closed for me to pick him up some Revel Stoke... So I got a bottle that I will give him in return...

Well the work thing keeps getting more interesting. My CEO called me and wants to set me up as my own business that he can license some of the technology and products I have invented over the past 30 years that belong to me. He also wants to set up a consultancy agreement between this new company and 2 of the ones he runs.

I’m not sure what his angle is and don’t really trust him, but I will listen to his proposal at least.

Business is business, and if I am in charge of my own company, it might not be a bad thing.

That's intriguing. Royalties involved? :)

I haven’t seen the actual contract yet, but no exclusivity beyond licensing specific products has been proposed. Like I said, I don’t really trust him and my lawyer will review everything before I agree to anything.

This is one of the products they want. It is a long lasting lip balm that has a duration of over 9 hours after each application and is designed to carry pharmaceutical drugs like anti herpes treatment to the lips. It heals and hydrates the lips just by itself.

This sample is 28 years old and just as good as the day I made it. It puts chapstick to complete shame. My wife is still using it regularly every Winter. I am down to my last 3 tubes of it made back in 1991.
