Stop in for a cup of coffee

Are those tulips?

Do you know what’s better than roses on the piano?

Tulips on the organ!

Yes, I believe that they are tulips... They have been here since I moved in and come up every year....

My dad most likely planted them sometime and they keep coming back each year during spring...

Ayee .. Where is that "shaking head" button when I need it?

right here...

FYI, If you leave the green leaves and main stalk for about 6 weeks after the blooms have passed before cutting, they will self propagate and you will get more blooms each season as the bulbs multiply.

I usually mow over them once the flowers die....

I will have to try that this year and see what happens...

Thanks...

This morning i may go look at parts car. If guy shows up for coffee. Then i will load ranger, drop it off for a parts trade, and if i buy barracuda, go load it.
Have to empty quonset today, storage needs to go outside.
Lots of my junk is in the way.

Needed a manlift for last summer’s siding project. Bought 2.
Ended up with 2 forklifts, non runner had the tall mast. Swapped it over, now what do i do with the carcass? Save it for parts.
Stack of 28 foot long siding.
This crap adds up.
Pallet racking full of steel, square tube and stuff for fabrication.

Oh,Ray!
I see you survived, i know you are happy its behind you.
Discussing this last night, aparrently our kids will never stop costing us money...

I got away pretty easy, most of it the kids paid for and all the food and decorations were done by family. Biggest thing for me was not drinking beer with @MOPARMITCH and @PosiRon  I was Uber again. Like I told Stan I will never hear the words "Dad I need the Visa card" Now it is "Stan I put it on the visa card" She was a freaking mess when the time came almost did not do the walk. Thought she would trip herself for sure. Made her loose it though thanks to Karls pickle joke. She got it at the alter and just started laughing. Of course mom was crying the whole time as the usual mother. Good time for all. I should have brought the double barrel for it!

Wife went to city shopping yesterday. I was tempted to get her to look for pickle bread..
Her friend seemed confused.
Could see her trying to figure ot out, until i said dill dough.

Definitely lightened the moment. I do have to say the new in-laws are great. I always got along with them but never really spent time with them before. Just a good group. Glad it is over now and mom is no longer stressed out. Her sister is here right now, and she saw most of her family also. Added bonus one niece on her side who did not come (thankfully) went into labor in the middle of it all.

Going over there in a bit to help clean up the mess. I will call Mitch see if he wants to meet for lunch or something.

Nothing in a young marriage better than getting along with the in-laws. Seen that break a couple up many times. Glad it went well!!

Stan Sr is a old school biker. Kind of like the people Marilyn and I grew up with. Perfect for all. We could be dangerous if we hung out for sure. Prob why Jr. did not have a real bachelor party. We got a good laugh off of that one.

Tell him there's left over beer...and maybe the photographer is coming back haha!!
Doubt there is ant beer left at all. was down to less then a case before I left. Soda sure as hell went fast. Tons of kids. Was good to see them out in the woods getting creative off of games and all. I hear this banging every now and then and they were racing on the carts that held the chairs. The moms were freaking out that they had no helmets. Sr said hell I never had one and look at me. They had no idea how to deal with it!

Looks like a fun wedding. Great weather for a outside celebration. That Mitch. What are we going to do with him? Hand him a camera! LOL

We went down for a car show. At a small college where they offer the only four year auto restoration Camaro 427 4 speed convertible special build by some Chevy guru. Anyway it was a good time, probably the most organized show I'd ever attended.

Our show on the other hand was the trip from hell. We laughed about it on the way home.
It all started when we got to the hotel. Pulled into a small parking lot and had to make a very tight turn with the 22' trailer. In doing so the electric cord from the trailer to truck got pinched and almost cut in half. Dash light says check trailer hook up do and find that....chit!!
So Loves service center a couple blocks away, load up and go over there its 8pm. Guy looks at it says he can slice it and give me lights come back at 7am. Go back to hotel and park and go to eat 9pm.
Walking back from eating and daughter in Japan text me "we have incoming missiles coming our way freaking out with her two kids, hubby is at work. So deal with that for 45 minutes. Just dumbass test firing his short range.
Go over next morning after a very restless night and get the wired splice.
Head to the trailer parking area a grass field. Pull in and wonder why the other two trailers and parked in the middle....its a mud pit.
Had to drop mine in 4wd low gear and crawl out. We find a place on pavement to park.
Get on the trailer and winch battery is dead...what else.
Push the car forward and wife unhooks the strap. I crawl in and back it off.
Shut it off to lock up the trailer. We jump in to go and the car won't start...ugh!! Messed with it for 30 minutes and got it going. Off to the show!!
We were really thinking we weren't suppose to go to this show?? haha!!
We'll remember this one for a LONG time!!
