Timing belt I hope but when it went it was throwing oil out the back. According to the guy following me. I think it was antifreeze because the rain seems to have washed it off but either way...why would the timing belt effect the head. I did read that it is a non interference engine but it is not uncommon when the belt goes that the valves hit each other. Only 88,000 miles.

Dave offered his BIL stratus when he passed. I knew I should have bought it. Now I am without a car

Goooood Morning

It's 44F out there this morning. 36 days from the longest day of the year? That just ain't right. Even for this odd little microclimate. Just happened to see the local weather last night  the record high for yesterday set in '14 was 105

So I got some interesting news today. One of my coworkers worked for years for Jasper engines and transmissions. He is very familiar with rebuilding T56 transmissions and beefing them up. He's offered to help walk me thru an entire rebuild/upgrade of the T56 and has all the factory tooling and such to make it easier and correct!

Argggg. Having hard drive issues with my laptop. Luke is working on it but there's a good chance I will need a new one. 6 years on this one I believe. It has a few bad sectors that have the Windows boot information. Can't get it to boot off a backup disc. Hopefully we will be able to retrieve the photos. U do have some older backups of those so not all is lost.

I have a copy of a windows 7 install disk, I can make a copy for you if you need one....

Time to buy a 1T external hard drive and start backing up your files there on a regular basis. It’s what I do with all my image files that I create. For $50 for one, it is cheap insurance. It’s also easy to keep it hooked up and do regular back ups.

I have a 4T external hard drive to save my information to...

Wow. Just saw a bit on the LA News. An F16 crashed into a warehouse near March AFB. Pilot ejected safely, fighter went right through the roof of the warehouse, no injuries and NO fire. Helicopter film you could see all the material in the warehouse was all strewn about, but no fire. Amazing.

Did you see about the FPD helicopter that crashed into the Hudson River in New York?? Someone caught it on video....

Hey.
Long weekend is here, traffic is going to be insane. By 6:00 pm there will be cars backed up a long ways.
Traffic lights at the bridge make for the bottleneck effect.
Problem is the cottagers dont seem to understand how it all works. Light turns green, move your ***!5 second gap and lights switch.

They are too busy looking at their phones to notice that the light has turned green... :icon_fU:

Then they hold up everyone behind them and make them miss the green light and have to wait for the next one....

I have no patience for th ose assholes...
