Stop in for a cup of coffee

Plumber shows up.
Looking for a big gas powered air compressor. Buddy bought one a couple years ago, never had it running.
Smith, ford v8 where 4 of the cylinders make air.
Runs decent, but wont unload.
Figured out how to get unloaders freed up, but o-rings are shot.
$4.00 to fix the non working 200 dollar 160 cfm compressor.

I do like the pop-up idea. How deep is it ? I'd be a little concern about it acting like a trap and junk filling up pipe underground.
It’s about 18” underground. They get great reviews and recommendations including from Bob Villa. No issues with freezing or clogging over the past 10 years of reviews I could find.

These guys have been using them since 2007 and haven’t had any customer issues.

Tim “Toolman” Taylor is better hahahhaha

Oh, and don’t mind the algae on the siding. With the wet Fall, mild Winter and wet Spring we have had it took off like crazy. I will pressure wash it all clean again once the stone work is done.
I was going to ask about that. LOL

What’s interesting about these is watching them work like I did in tonight’s heavy rains. A very nice action that maintains flow without gushing. A downspout can wash out the discharge area because of the the velocity of the water falling, but these just gently disperse it resulting in zero wash out around it.

I was backreading yesterday and meant to ask about the cut wire harness? Not sure if it was TMM or Tool Junkie? Post said it was cut by a "heavy handed" guy trying to cut off a retainer or tie of some sort? Just curious if the splice fixed things, couldn't find result.

I remember reading that. Wasn't me though.

Was me. Fixed the issue of a solenoid code and the fusebox cutting power after 10 seconds.
I replaced the valve body also, returning low km used transmission back to the way it was when installed.

Boils down to:
Trans swapped and working.
200 pound gorilla “fixing” oil leak
Related to intake gaskets and damaging wire harness.
Second shop installing a bad used valve body.
Third shop giving up as it was an electrical issue and not a trans issue.
Then me cleaning up the mess...

Holy Crap! Well, it brings you work although I'm sure you don't mind a new issue vs. that. The picture reminded me of when I worked in a Motorola shop. The radio installer worked on a Prius of all things, put a mobile radio in it. When the work was done and he pressed the ignition button "Problem" was displayed on the dash. A new wiring harness was needed and it had to be done at the stealership, so that was an expensive install for the company.
