Stop in for a cup of coffee

like a french drain? I doubt it, my septic system is on the north side and to the south there is no way

Is the street lower? Just need to pipe it to a lower area. Use the perf pipe in the wet area and regular pipe from there to carry it away. Definitely don't want to add it to a sanitary drain field. You could oversaturate it and back that up. Go from bad to worse. :wack:
Is the ground lower at the back end of the area pictured. If so, a little landscaping should be able to get it running that way.

^^ this is why I will call a landscape company - 1 time and done. And yes, the street out front is a lot lower.

I would guess your soil is like ours. If I dig a hole a couple feet down, Im looking at a clay pot. If the top soil cant absorb it, well.. It looks like your pic.

well - seems like it depends on where I dig.. up over the "hill" you see to the right it is rocky as hell - found that out when I put in a small garden a few years ago - no fun at all to dig up. But when the septic sucker people come out it seems like they hit mostly hard coarse dirt.. which, by the way, is right where the pump in the foreground is - I misspoke earlier - my leach field is to the north side of the house.

anyway - it stopped raining so that cluster funk is over for this round.. ding ding, I win. Who's got what going on today?

Just came back from the post office tell you what a 4 lb box to Canada was 36.50. I see why those guys hate buying from the US

Put a catch basin in and run it to the front

Hi guys. checking in, slept in as I was up late. Got the garbage out, now for a nap....

Yesterday was very busy... :banghead:

reading from the dark side. Memike is right, as long as it will drain away from that low area. all it has to do is enter the catch basin, and run downdill in your drain tile, shovel and pickax, the plastic drain "tile'. the catch basin, or make your own basin out of anything that will not rust away in the soil. this is used on farms, golf courses, simple and easy.

Recovering from a late night. Still tired...

Busy day, but took a while after class last night to unwind...

Waiting for parts, so I can't do much on the cars right now...

Yup, that would do it. I had to watch the video to see how they did it for $15 though. I guess that was for the basin and a hacksaw blade. Kinda big ***-umption that you already have the drain tubing in exactly the right place and depth . Lol. Add a bit of ka-ching and a lot of work for actually piping it. I'm just guessing you dont have tubing burried there, or we would not be conversing on the matter. Maybe you will get lucky and find it is there and just clogged. :glasses7:
I would look into ways to correct surface drainage first though. Nothing to clog up that way.

senior person on a 7 person crew - taking days off always makes for an interesting day back as it seems like no one else has the where-with-all to do certain things.. can you say ID-10-T factor... dah.. there I go venting again..
