Dusting only here. Didn't even stick to the driveway
Fat Tuesday pastries, in the old days they would use all the leftover butter and flour etc and celebrate fat tues with them, should be close anyhow.
Got my rocker arms late yesterday. But, now I got a few jobs in the shop today. Don't know if I can get to the rockers.

Paczki's are a doughnut with jelly filling and sugar coating the outside... 1200 calories each...
Polish tradition "Fat tuesday/Paczki Day" every Feb.
When I lived in Detroit, I wasn't far from Hamtramk, they have a large polish population and fat tuesday is big there every year...

Fat Tuesday marks the last day of gluttony before Lent, a time of sacrifice, begins with Ash Wednesday. In Chicago, it also means hundreds of people will line up outside bakeries for a taste of paczki, the Polish doughnut-like dessert.
Pronunciation may vary from person to person (POONCH-key, PUNCH-key and PONCH-key are all considered acceptable), and the deep-fried dough may come filled with custard, fruit, or simply dusted with powdered sugar.

Over 6 inch snow at the house.
I had a couple donuts yesterday. Didn't make it to the firehouse for my real fasnachs. I have not really started a diet. But have been watching what I'm chowing on a bit more. Between that and all the snow removal in the last two weeks I dropped 5lbs.
