Stop in for a cup of coffee

This was one of my favorites..but might be considered bad sportsmanship to place on a trophy?
Anyway some of the color is washed out - seems to a problem with the soft yellow - at least with digital photography.

I remember in the army when learning to drive a bandwagon on ice, making one little mistake and we swept all the cones with us instead of going between them. Don't remember if we had cones on the slippery road course when taking my driver's license.

More to the internet line issue....

My son said that they were out yesterday to bury the new line...

This morning I get a knock at the door, it was the internet company here to bury the line... I said that you were out yesterday... So we went in back to see what was done...

It turns out that the guys yesterday just put some blank line down on top of the soil and left... The guy who showed up today was the guy that buried the first one... He ran it to the pole on the north side of the yard... The guys that came out two - three weeks ago tried to hook that one up at the south pole... No wonder it didn't work, it wasn't the same line.... :BangHead: :realcrazy:

But the guy that showed up on Sunday tore that line up, so now they are burying a new line to go to the south pole.... :BangHead: :wtf:

What a classic case of miscommunication and incompetence.... :mob: :wtf:

Now I have to get ready for work, so we'll see how this saga turns out.... Stay tuned....

It's amazing the results you get when you go online and slam the internet company for dragging their @ss for installing/burying a new line...

Filed a review and a complaint with the BBB last weekend, then a guy came out on Monday and threw a long piece of line in the back yard, loose...

Then a guy came on Tue and buried it from the pole to the box on the house....

Then another guy came out on Wednesday to hook it up and now I'm running a new buried line for my internet connection...,. :D

The problem only started on Friday the 13th back in September.... :BangHead:

Get the BBB on their @ss and they finally put some priority on it.... :mob:

This is after their call center operators told me it would take 3 more weeks to get it done, after they promised it would be done last week and nothing happened.... :icon_fU: :icon_fU: :icon_fU:

I need submit a car photo for the year end award. I think it gets placed on a plaque, but I'm assuming its not getting cropped into circle or square.

Looking for suggestions, comments and wisecracks.
Narrowed it down to a few. The one with the watermark I can buy and crop as shown.
I think it has the best color - even though the lower portion of the car is in shadow.

Funny thing, as a long time Ford guy I more and more like the Molar's.

Bill

M O P A R' S. Stupid phone is always messing it up.

Was that a competition to run over as many cones as possible

Bill
2 second penalty per cone!!
The only thing to do at that point is reign in the emotions and get the car settled - then place it where the rest of the run can still be used for practice.
Autocross is best run counts - there's still another opportunity.
unlike Rallycross where every run counts... kindof like real rally

LOL. Its one of those optical illusions!
Actually sometimes a difficult thing with new competitors - they don't believe the car will do what it will do. Especially in a slalom they start turning the wheel too late. As the speeds get higher, the car takes time to react and the tire slip angle increases (distortion between th econtact patch the rest of the carcass).

I'll order A.
If the photographer had a contact link, I'd ask him for this gif he posted on FB.
But he doesn't and not on FB. Eventually I'll run into him.

Here is a pic of the current fuel line. Its the same fuel line used for the Edlebrock.
You can see it comes out the side and drops a couple inches and then forward over the block to the fuel pump.
Why am I messing with it, it works, good question.
I'm just looking to make it correct.

Good morning everyone. Heading out to look at a set of X heads instead of the J heads I got recently. These are ready to run and have the bigger valves. Had a friend post that 6x2 hemi cross ram intake on Ebay. Bidding is climbing nicely!

It only takes a second to rebalance the color and lighting.

Ill get these two. If anything I'd ask Dave to remove the pole out of the second. But the first will do fine.
Thanks

What does it look from the pump to the filter?

I am familiar with Rallycross from Norway. We had a really hot headed guy in Norway. He started young, to his mom's worst fears, having the moped engine in thousand pieces in his bed and sleeping with the parts.

Martin Skanche was his name, also known as Mr. Rallycross. Colorful person on the race track.

That's must something different. Motocross is motorcycle racing - wheel to wheel - on closed dirt course.
Rallycross is a SCCA's way to get back into the closed section rally game, even though they sold of the sanctioning of US 'Pro rally' which was basically an FIA type event like the rest of the world does, but also allowed non-professional entrants.
It's basicly an autocross on non-paved surface.
Big difference is every run counts, and the course may be altered during the event.

I've only done one of them.

Thanks Dave! I'm going to Ryan's photo site now.
They're not expensive.
Any suggestions or preferences amongst the selection?
I would go with a or d. Then I would photoshop out the background bits that are distracting.

The guy in the white Escort is Martin Skancke. Never heard that he raced motorbikes. Except having a moped as a kid.
