Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning. Speaking of phones, funny conversation my Sis had with Dad. She's out on the water a lot, so she has a special waterproof cover for her phone. Problem is, it muffles the sound so much you can't understand her.

Dad: What's wrong with your phone, I can never understand you when you call.
Sis: It's the cover I have on it, so it can go underwater.
Dad: Why would you want to talk underwater?
Sis: So I can talk to the fish?

Good morning David.. Thank you for the laugh :D

Thanks Mike, my sis got a lot done on this trip, took my Dad out to Walmart, got the house listed with a realtor, sold his airplane project, hired the cleaning crew to empty the house (4 dumpsters!) But the best news of all was they had a good time together and shared some laughs.

Good morning pouring down rain here in in good old Seattle. Good day today get to go home till Monday.
Had a major water leak at home. Water line from the meter to the house broke and was leaking bad. Friend of mine went over and fixed it since I'm stuck down here in Seattle.

Received a $400.00 water bill from the city is how we figured out there was a leak but they said they would deduct a bunch off it. Sure glad of that.

Hey Stan! Glad you get to go home for the weekend and REALLY glad to read the update on your blog! Kicking cancer's butt, literally, you're like a real-life superhero. Keeping yourself healthy and fit throughout all they had to do to you. By the way, for the double vision, if you wear an eye-patch, does that help?

Things are good for me here. We have a black-tie charity event for 125 at the restaurant tonight. Many courses with wine pairings. It will be a long shift but fairly easy because we don't have to take any orders or even talk to the guests for that matter, just set up, serve, clear, and clean up. Polish about 800 or so glasses.

oh - FYI - I my wife and I went out for breakfast on the 14th - came time to leave a tip and I thought of you and the post you had put up - $20 for food and a $5 tip - doesn't sound like much I know, but it was more than 20% - if everyone did something like that that morning, maybe they made some ok coin for giving up their Valentines Day..

Yes!! Thank you, Mike. It's only a dollar more, so instead of spending $24 you spent $25, not a big difference at all but believe me the server very much appreciated it. And, they will be glad to see you when you return, and be eager to give you good and prompt service.

I also do cash tips as much as possible - easier & better for the recipient..

Oh Yea?? Well..... Sue and I went to our Church for a Valentines Dinner/Show put on by the Youth of the Church. Tickets were $20 each and proceeds went to the Youth Summer programs/mission trips. They put an envelope on each table for tips on top of the paid price. Sue and I put $40 in the envelope !! So There...... LOL
