I have seen them in use before. I have always been able to squeeze/hammer in the big shims needed for pre load, on non adjustable diffs
Used on GM and Fomoco diffs mostly witout the provision/adjuster for carrier brg preload
Did a major search looks like dana 30-70 also. Funny the 35 is like a 8 1/4 with the adjustable side plates.

George Carlin is one of he best comedians. He is one of the pioneers to pave the way. He really believed in free speech and using cuss words in his act. He even stood by it to where he was thrown in jail in Wisconsin after using profanity on stage because he refused to clean it up and stand up and fight for the right to free speech.
Most of his comments on life's issues are well thought out, he was an intelligent guy.. I have most of his CDs and alot of DVDs of the same CD.

oh hey - I got that windshield wiper kit working yesterday - mostly mocked in right now - - 90% done
Actually a nice day sunny and might hit 50 then rain and 40's for the rest of the week.
What kit I missed it.
I remember when one morning here in the coffee thread was maybe 2 pages long, we have hit page 8 and it is not even 8 oclock yet ! Rainy posted the first one this morning at 12:01 .. Everyone enjoy this day, time to make some breakfast ..
Pretty much the same here...Hot Dogs, Eggs and Fried Potatoes this morning..still cookin....

oh, I had to buy an aftermarket wiper kit because the car has been modified to the point that the OEM stuff cannot be used
I've been watching some of the offensive comedy lately. One theory is the closer to the edge it is, the more you laugh... But you can't believe that you are laughing at it because you may be a bad person for laughing... The funniest jokes are the ones that are just before you "cross the line" and be offended... But you have to keep in mind that they are mostly saying them for the joke, not the offense...
