Stop in for a cup of coffee

I think he got it bound up with the diverter spoon he was using. He had to use the spoon because the cleanout is 12' deep and it's the only way to get the snake to make the turn at the bottom.

Somebody must have dropped a mean deuce to clog it up that tight..

I had something similar a few years ago the main line to the cesspool had a bunch of wipes in it and clogged where it goes into the tank. Of course it was like 10 degrees out also. Had to get a plumber out with an electric snake.

I got to get going got sucked in again. There are some older pics in my photos minus the roof rack and spotlight.

Good luck with it DD.

Or sh1t a brick!:glasses7:

It looks like the previous owner had been using those "personal wipes" and flushing them. Either that or they were flushing handiwipes. You can see the stuff at the bottom of the clean out and it's definitely not toilet paper. :(

A second truck came about 15 mins ago so now there are two plumbers at it. Looks like we have to open it up inside the house to snake it out. The system is full, so this is going to be messy. Buckets and trash cans at the ready to start catching the drainage.

Yippee.

This is gross but I remember reading that people are flushing those wipes and they are causing big problems for municipal treatment plants.

Oh good morning...well sorry it's not such a good morning for you Dave, man you'll be relieved when they get your plumbing working again. Sorry you're going through this.

Good morning to you sir. And congrats on the big win. I hope you enjoy night out..

Yup, Congrats on the Win. Now you can tell the Server what YOU want !

Thanks Ben! I love sales contests, over the years they've gotten me places I wouldn't have justified the expense if I had to pay for myself.

And thanks Mitch, yes it's a big treat being the one sitting at the table. It's fun to observe how the servers act in the nicer restaurants. The last time, the dude was a little full of himself. Wasn't at all interested in me or my date, only in telling us how exquisite everything on their menu was. My feeling is, I'll tell YOU if the food is good...

There are biodegradable ones she uses now. but sometimes in a rush she gets the other type. I bring them to the shop!

Well, good news...the drains are flowing again!

Turns out the main was clogged with grease and "flushable" wipes. Those things are a plumbing nightmare because they don't really break down on their own. Combined with the grease it essentially made a big wax plug in the pipe 10' long. It's all snaked out now and flowing like it should.

The cost wasn't too bad either, $325 with the 20% discount. They really did honor their word. Gotta respect that!

here is one but I have a cop spotlight on the driver side pillar that is just cool. really a bad pic.

Great to be able to flush! Floaters are a great target for guys though!

Roto rooter that baby out! Yes those wipes can cause problems. Even the flush-able ones can cause problems.

Do you have a larger copy of that you can e-mail to me? Lifting photos from here doesn't work well for photoshop. The resolution is too low and they degrade quickly while I'm working on them.

PM me your e mail just took some of the pro street POPMOBILE! Man those traction bars George sent me really makes it POP! I also have to get a pic of the hood with the pop up scoops and you can add the nitrous vents behind them if you can. Not your every day Old Mans car but will look like it!
