I always wanted a magneto buy with the technology today. I did see a gm looking hei on a small block in the junkyard. Almost pulled it just because.

Yep when I can. I have the one quarter panel off. I tried to work on it yesterday but played out in 20 minutes and took a 2 hour nap. I hope to get to it a little today.

Have any junk a body gauges laying around? Or I think pre 75 dodge might work to try the tester out?
I think I can come up with something.
Every thing but amp I think I will be able to test. The tester should be done by the middle of net week, just a few more parts. So far it worked on mine in the car on low and mid scale need a resistor for full and one more potentiometer for the sweep function which should be cool. I just want to check it with the internal battery and do not want to take my cluster apart.
Would 69 or 70's clusters out of a truck work?
I would think so I can return them. If I have time I want to go to klinngers and see what he will charge for a few. He has some crappy looking ones there. I do not want to get to far into it it is just a thing I can make to help out others. Of course I am going overboard with it and making it have other features.

Just doing what I do
Ugh, what a morning. 
Plumber has been here since 7:30 am and still at it. The main is clogged and when he ran the snake down, it bound up and snapped off a 12' section of the snake cable. It was loud as hell when it snapped.
He recovered the broken length and he has been out in his truck for the past hour trying to repair the snake. I'm still no closer to having working drains yet.

That just stinks! At least he got the broken end out of it. Wonder what is in there to break it?

Just doing what I do
I think he got it bound up with the diverter spoon he was using. He had to use the spoon because the cleanout is 12' deep and it's the only way to get the snake to make the turn at the bottom.
