Thanks Rani. You say the sweetest things!

if you are ever on facebook ....I will add you

there is a dart sport lovers group and it is a great inspiration for dart sport fans.

There is not as big of following with dart sports but the following that does exist, they are pretty in to it.

there is also a Plymouth duster group ...I am in that one. That group sees a lot of action because there is a ginourmous amount of dusters out there.

I'll see if i can even remember how to login to my Facebook. If you think Ben Drinkin is a odd name, wait til get a load of my Facebook handle!

That's some serious action, Karl. Good thing the police closed the site off.

There's a real serious danger when the power is manually turned back on. Often times the utility companies try it once or twice to see if whatever caused the short has been vaporized and no longer is a problem. Could be a raccoon, bird or a branch, and only if that doesn't work they dispatch a service crew.

If the line is on the ground and curious people walk up to check out the raccoon thinking the power is off, they can often get electrocuted.

Scary stuff. Stay away.

Morning Anders. And fellow early risers. Filled the pot enjoy. Just driving thru.

Well that is some excitement early in the morning. How long did it take to get power back on and did you hear what caused the line to come down?

My power was out for about 2 1/2 hours... :violent1:

There is a pole leaning behind my back garage... :banghead:

Yeah, they rope it off for a distance because the electricity can travel through the ground and get you..

It's all better now...

g'morning - I'll take some Joe, don't ya know, let it flow, sip it slow, makes me glow, get to the go.. ahhhh, beans!

why surprised? I think Anders is young enough that he only recently heard of it and may well have equated it with modern muscle as Ma has started using it again - - I knew of it, but thought it was both divisions - I knew of RapidTransitSystem too, but didn't realize the two were separate and division specific... learned some cool history yesterday O:).
I was a little surprised about the discussion earlier today about the Dodge Scat Pack. It is one of the reasons that I became hooked on Mopar as a kid.

I have tons of Scat Pack stuff including vintage ads and the Scat pack bees in the quarter windows of my GTS. I have an original 1969 Dealer Scat pack metal sign and I've even created a lot of my own Scat Pack images too!

I have some older RTS stickers somewhere - always been more into the Plymouths - owned 1 Dart, 1 Duster and 3 or 4 Scamps... (one may have been just a Valiant)--- 4 a dark green 71, a blue 70, a black 72 /6 and my current orange one... whew, too much like thinking at this hour..
Yes, Plymouth used "Rapid Transit System" for their ads...

Seems most of my employees have etch-a-sketch brains. They go home and shake thier heads and it's a blank slate the next time they come to work.. And HR says I can't point out the fact that they're stoopid. Like hiring a whole new crew every Monday...

No child left behind....

So they all stayed behind together.... :banghead:
