Stop in for a cup of coffee

Sitting here outside San Antonio wearing lined jeans that I bought when we lived through five Calgary winters... Sipping Weller's though.
The wife said it was a bit on the cool side in the area.

Bad Russian copy of a Datsun 510?
No way, i'd say the other way around

All night and day, I'm back like vertebrae

This my first day off in two weeks. Most of my co workers who were out with covid that I was covering for the last two weeks are cleared to come back, so the overtime is over.

That wasn't overtime, but more like go camp out and live there.

I worked my regular 8 today. Noon till 5 tomorrow.

And we have a bunch of people off. Not sure who actually have it or who is quarantined for symptoms, contact or crossing state lines over Turkey weekend.

8 hour days feel so short. In two weeks I got two 8 hour days, the rest were 12 or 14.

The 8 hour days were like..... "oh crap, it's already time to leave" in a flash

Doesn't happen often, but had to do some 12's not too long ago. And , yeh..next couple 8's felt like half shifts.

My facility has been getting tested twice a week. I'm one of very few who has never had it. Kinda scary

I was covering two shifts. There's supposed to be 14 people who do exactly what I do but everyone was out except two of us. So had to cover them all.

I get two administrative days off next week because of that which I'm happy about but I'm burnt, totally cooked after that.

My hope is that covid is flying in the air from mouth to mouth and because I'm shorter than everyone, its flying right over my head.

Ok, maybe not

There are 2 of us on 2nd shift maintenance. Other guy has been out since 11/20 Supposed to be back Tues. That is the only thing I have been told. They did just hire another guy to work split between 2nd and 3rd. so he came in early this week.

There are dumber theories...
I have no idea what I'm doing that has kept me from getting it. I thought for sure by now because I've been around so many people who were/ are positive. Yet I keep coming up negative. I got my results today from a test on Friday. Still negative. I don't know what to think.

I think I'm just lucky, because In the beginning I thought I'd probably be one who dies from it. It's really scary like a really bad dream that all this is happening.

My "normal" workday is 9 hours, Monday to Friday, I refuse to work weekends anymore. The last 3 to 4 weeks have been pretty hectic and busy, most days were close to 10 hours, too long for me. Yesterday I stayed home after having a root canal late Thursday, was still sore in the morning and I hadn't gotten much sleep thanks to the pain.
By afternoon I was ok, took my Dart out for a spin, still not running right, blew out the fuel line with air pressure thinking it may have been blocked but it seemed fine. After reconnecting the tank, I tested the fuel pressure, just under 6 psi, still need to figure out why it seems to die off above ~3500 RPM. I don't have working tach, so going by ear on the rpms. It will rev up no problem in park or neutral, but is a slug under load, 4.10 gears in the rear and it won't even break the tires. Oil pressure is 80 psi cold, about 55-60 warm. It almost feels like the ignition is breaking up or valves are floating. Has an MSD box and billet distributor, new plug wires and plugs, new Edelbrock 650 carb. I have a stock dist and new ecm, all of the wiring appears to be intact, so I think I may try swapping out the MSD and see if that makes a difference. Engine is a basically stock 360 with a very mild flat tappet hyd cam, 727 trans, 8 1/4 diff.

I get temp tests several times a day from different places I go, haven't had any issue or symptoms yet, but if I do it's an automatic 14 days off, unless I bring in a negative test result,
