I have seen true 75 dusters with any of three stripe options

Plain with the body side molding with the rubber insert

Gold duster stripe

And the one specific to duster 360 .....quite rare in 75 (bottom pic)

There is a fourth stripe in late 75 that was actually the silver duster stripe, but on paper the silver duster was 76 only

I am inclined to believe the silver duster was an option very late in the 75 model run....

I have here a fender tag from a very late build 75 .....june 25, 1975 to be exact. August 1 was usually the model year change over date.

so one more month and few days and this car would have been a 76.

It has the silver duster stripe .....I still have the fenders and doors with the very faded stripe. Also, this car had the boca raton interior which is quite unique. It had everything in the interior pic above, except it's clearly a 75.

So, I am calling the silver duster a late 75 thing even though it is not listed in the dealer catalog until 76

Staying out of the shop for a bit. Went to go work on the cuda. Didn't wait for the lights to fully warm up. Got tangled in an extension cord and did a face plant on the concrete.
Smacked my forehead real good.
