Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning Mike 1, I have about 100 lbs of new parts about to hit my front porch Friday on it's way and a slot opened up at my friends shop for the weekend bud. memikie is a happy fellow on this green day .

That's exciting, Mike! Getting closer.

Here's a little Valiant 100 that makes me smile. I just don't think I'm ready to fall in love with an old Mopar again just yet. Paint looks like F5 Limelight(?)

Holy cow that is just a darling little car and the price is not bad considering it is a fantastic year. The aftermarket is kind to car that year.

If you got that. ....... that would be awesome.

I'm going to call about it shortly just to satisfy my curiosity. You don't see the green/saddle combo too much, I like it. I'm torn whether I want to hear the passenger side is undamaged and the car drives runs/drives great or a bunch of bad news such as the windshield leaks and motor smokes.

I bet it is a dandy running and looking ride, low milage to if I remember right, careful if you don't want to have another mopar yet David :glasses7: this one looks great and needs nothing to enjoy  Just maintain it looks like to me from here :)

The more I look at it, the more I like it. Looks like a very sweet little ride. And the price seems pretty reasonable (of course I'd always offer less just to see)...

I talked to the lady. Her husband was there in the background and he admonished me the car was manual steering, brakes, and transmission. Of course I realize that. She mentioned they were married in 1969. Husband bought the car from an elderly man in their small town who had it sitting in his garage. No rust. Passenger side undamaged. Needs a fuel pump, they were headed out to get one. I'm going to look at it tomorrow morning. I didn't ask if it was a 170 or 225.

Oh the lady said 5300 miles. I don't know if she meant 53000 miles or if it's 105300 miles. It's a very small town where the car is.

I'm going to see it tomorrow. It's only an hour away. This is agonizing for me because it's a car I'd love to own on one hand, but do I really want another mouth to feed so to speak? It's such a simple car though it might not be a money pit but you never know. Damn.

sometimes - -you just gotta make yourself happy...

don't forget to ask the "$10,000 question" - - why are you selling it? it's amazing how people stumble over that question when they are hiding something..

Thanks, Mike, I would ask many other questions but not think to ask that, good advice.

It's only a money pit if you let it be.. If you have to have disc brakes, and you want to add just a little more power, and you want to upgrade the electrical system, and you want fuel injection, and you want to turbocharge it, and you want it to handle like a F1 car.......

I'd want to let it be what it is. Electronic ignition is all I'd change.
