Well, one of this week’s jobs is down the road. Owner assumed water pump,opened rad cap and revved engine. Head gasket. Near cylinder 5. 17,500 misfires counted. 07 silverado. Guy told him it was a 5.3. Serial number says 4.8.no longer my problem. Im good with that, my leg is acting up again.

Hoppy mention his wifes Firechicken as the only available vehicle for use. His driver - the Cobalt fell apart and his truck is getting loaded for Carlisle... Not sure what year, but we ain't talkin 67. Modern little thing he is usually hating on. LOL

I thought I read it here. Someone's wife was getting a longing for Firechicken. A later vintage though.
