My friend Doug keeps pestering me to sell my dad's 1998 Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited to him... It's got less than 50 k miles on it... He won't give me what it's worth and promises he'll sell it back to me anytime I want....
No thanks, I'll keep it for myself... I need it to tow non-running cars around....
I had a guy put $7 k cash in my hand trying to get me to sell it, and I handed it back....
My dad special ordered it while I worked at Chrysler... I had my friend in scheduling at the truck plant call his counterpart at Jefferson North to expedite the order... It was on hold for a few weeks because of a quality issue with the grill supplier color didn't match the paint... The supplier got the color match fixed and then the Jeep was shipped to my dad... I even have the original window sticker for it which states that it was special ordered with my dad's name on it.... I have too much sentimental value in it to let it go....
I'm gonna have a shish tawook sandwich for breakfast today... I picked it up from one of my favorite Arabic restaurants in Dearborn yesterday....
Or I could have some Chinese general chicken or chicken fried rice.... Decisions, decisions....
