A Gear Heads Christmas Carol

'Twas the night before Christmas,
And in the garage,
No trace of a Chevy,
but there was a Dodge.
The presents were wrapped,
and the lights were all lit,
So I figured I'd mess,
with the Mopar for a bit.

I unlatched the pins,
and lifted the hood,
Then a deep voice behind me said:
"Looks pretty good."
Well as you imagine,
I turned mighty quick,
And there by my tool chest,
was good Ol' Saint Nick.

I stood there for a bit,
not sure what to say,
then he piped up,
"Race Pinks for my sleigh?
"No way Santa,"
and I started to grin,
looked at him and said,
"But we can go for a spin."

Yes, I noticed the clunking as I was driving it the 7 miles home. Decided to check it out this morning.

but as I told the wife, I knew it needed a lot of basic maintenance stuff and this was on the plan to replace.
