The scope will give you a "picture" of what is going on with the ignition and that one can also kill each cylender to see what percent of loss it has. Say you have 0 loss then somehing is going on mechanically with the cylender if the scope part shows fine.

So Hop, for a non-mechanic schmuck like me what's something like that giving me that a Sears Craftsman small box not doing.
Same thing basically in a smaller package. Test equipment used to be huge apparatus, now much downsized....
 
it is pretty much a lost art now but man if you know how to read it it saves alot of BS time. I get 50 a pop here doing it. Just the older cars with a distributor it works on.
 
There is a small market out there for it. Just have to get the word out locally to say the car clubs.

If I had the room I would jump on it. Easy flip at Carlisle.
 
It is a score if it works. Usually a bad fuse from what I have experienced if it does not power up.
