Anders same vice thing happened to me I just added a steel plate on the top and bottom.
That's quite a lot, isn't it? We measure wind in m/s and I think that is roughly half the value in mph.

I think I'll just use that wooden board for now. I'll be putting a new bench in another room eventually. I'll just refrain from bending heavy material ...
