So much easier than screws. Drill a hole insert. Holds the panel then just pinch and remove. We used the heck out of them on aircraft.
 
Never used them much but if I had them I would use them.
My body and paint days are over I'll still work on my own stuff but after a life time of doing bodywork I'm tired.
Lucky for me, all the cutting out of old metal should be done. Just the figure out the last bit of the quarter to door. Been reading threads about it, seems the good marks tend to be off that spot a lot

Getting another plane that I have to haul back from Washington State sometime soon and going to have to pick your brain on lots of stuff. Been sitting for a long time.

Got some more snow overnight here. and cold for another week. Made the wife pancakes for breakfast today.
 
Remember I am a a avionics guy, Guidance and control.
Out of my league for sure.
Son just put auto pilot in his RV6 he wanted me to help but after looking at the directions I took a back seat and watched him do it. lol
 
What do you all think of wood trim. Like real wood trim for the interior?
