Thanks Chris

Keep in mind that I know exactly squat about rebuilding engines... but @memike and @toolmanmike have good threads that I've read through.

I'd still like to know what is up with the MOPAR small block build book that was written by Don Taylor being so dang expensive?
'Cause its out of print. Amzon and some sellers dont know the diffeence between out of print, rare, and so rare people will pay those prices.
Keep looking around. Ebay, ABE Books, etc.
That's how I got a copy at reasonable price.

Whats the story on the 6?
Does a '64 Canadian need a modified firewall for the v-8?

Dave mapes has done pretty well with Maryland Performance Center for modified builds. Not sure that would be a place for a stock rebuild. maybe Pittsburgeracer has some suggestions.

Good grief I hope not! But would not surprise me if there's something silly going on

Should be the same from firewall forward. I do have 64 production records from Windsor showing V8 numbers so should not require any changes

Some place I read the early As didn't have room for the v-8. First year with v-8 (which I don't remember what year that was) required firewall mods.

Check ABE books it is where I get most of my out of print stuff.

They can ask all they want.
Its only worth that much if someone, really more than one, person is willing to pay that.

I htink I looked for a few weeks, maybe a couple months until a $20 ish was available.
