I did cut a bolt off once
I bend stuff with heat, when i pulled the doors off i really needed a lot of heat in a small area. Torch with a small tip worked perfect.
Seriously I do use mine and could not be without it.
Some of the older dist cores are cast iron and to say rusted shafts is a understatement. Usually have to get the case red hot to free the shaft or to press out the shaft and bushings as a unit. Not often but maybe once a year.

Sunny day, but not going to warm up much. Had the woodstove going strong last night. Probably relight it late afternoon. Only looking for high of 46.

Modified it . It's from a roadrunner.
Showed Becky that one, she got a kick. We haven't seen 60 yet and it's not in the forecast for the next 10 days so...
