Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning!
Just below freezing, blizzard on the way?
Good thing i got the sequencer for my furnace, bad that old sequencer burned up one element. $250 for a replacement. Ohm test showed continuity, but it was totally fried when i pulled it out to visually check both elements. Maybe i will snap a pic.
Checked with an electrician, $25 for the materials to re-thread old element. Not sure when he can do it.
So at present we are heating only with pellet stove. Basement is hot, upstairs is perfect.
But its -3c, heading down to -24 tonight.
It is what it is, will clean stove today before it gets really cold.

And i will work on the firewall for a few hours today..

How ya doing Eric?

Still in the clutches of winter
Hey Chris. Doing well. The dry needling is giving some pain relief. How are you doing?

Weather wise we are in a heat wave today. Up to 40, so i took off and will be in thr garage as much as I can. Below 0 tonight with highs below 0 by Sunday. Going to be a very cold week. I really need to get the garage insulated and heat

Doing not bad. Glad the dry needling worked for you. Good to get a little relief without pills or someone slicing and dicing.

Waiting for the snow cycles to lay off. I rearranged the garage to get the daily driver inside. I hate scraping ice. Problem is, crap is all piled around the car so doing any work requires rearrangement of the furniture and moving snow blower, generator, etc etc. I know I'm just being lazy. There's only a few odds and ends left to do.
Tire and wheel choice continues to haunt me. LOL.

Morning all you early risers. Have several instructors coming out today to make sure all their junk is dialed in. They are doing a Woman’s Spartan retreat in March. Looking like around thirty Women all armed with varying degrees of experience. It is a super cool event. Sorry guys no males allowed. Basically it lets females learn all kind of shooting skills in a zero pressure non competitive landscape. Complete with a female instructor. Plus a couple of additional helpers like myself. They camp onsite we feed them here at the range and they get to bond and do all that kind of stuff.

Oh great, a bunch of women staying together... With guns...

Wait until their periods synch up... :BangHead:

I set up a portable garage for kims car. So sweeping snow off her car is not a thing any more. When it fails, i will replace it.

I definitely know the moving stuff around to work on things. Very annoying and adds time to the project without results other than losing what you moved somewhere else

I have a parking pad in the front of the house. I'd like to get something there, either carport-like or small garage/shed. Wind here can get silly, so whatever it is has to be relatively rugged

Question for thr group. Why does a receiver hitch pin go in horizontal vs vertical? Convenience?

Yeah, right...

I bet you won't get your package today...
I have 2 shipments of bourbon on it's way. Of course probably not over the weekend. I will be busy on Monday and Tuesday and signature is required. I might see if I can have then delivered to the UPS store up the street. They can sign for them.
