Was going to run to the store for some burger buns. I wondered why my pick up wouldn't remote start. The battery isn't happy. Lights come on and it cranks a rev and clicks. Of course my charger is over in the storage garage. Start the old Buick and make a trip. I'll deal with it tomorrow after the sun comes up. Charge it, test it, and probably replace it.
You win Frank only -23*F here but no wind so not too bad. Could be worse I have a nice warm house and garage and only have to walk to the garage 12 feet from the house.
Wind here is brutal. 40mph stains, gusts over 50. Ambient is 1 degree currently. No I didn’t try to start the Cummins in this cold, yikes
I flew into Housten late 70s for work, 1 inch of snow and shut the place down. Would not rent me a car, said it was to dangerous to drive.They won’t know what to do!

I wouldn't try to start it and with the wind I'd stay in the house and play Legos with the kids.
Last time I was in Housten the roads were a bit slippery on the overpasses and driving a loaded semi. Cars would pass me and then slam on their breaks when they came to an overpass. I had to pull into a TruckStop and wait till it warmed up to avoid running over a cars.

Hit -35 as expected. Wouldnt be suprised if my truck shows colder. Wonder if it will start? May just walk out and key start it, in case we have an issue i can abort. Remote start wont shut down if something goes sideways.
