Stop in for a cup of coffee

Wow that's a hard thing to deal with but I understand.
Everything in my life I’ve had to fight for and earn. My siblings on the other hand, mom and dad helped them. Guess they learned their lesson after leaving me out to dry. But I like to think that gave me the determination to better myself. I’m happy with my career and family, and my friends on here especially, just need to get my homestead built and then I can finally rest and say it’s been a good run.

Sorry to sidetrack, pizza bread starts with a $1 loaf from Wal Mart

Damn that looks good. I’m stuck on a protein shake and applesauce diet for 12 weeks. But hey I’m down from 291 to 268 in 14 days. At this rate, I should be down to 225-230 by the time I can eat again
Keep up the good work. I lost 7# prepping for my colonoscopy and that was just a few days. I'm sure I gained it back and didn't need to.

If i get sub 250, I’ll be happy . Plan is to use this as a wake up call. Much healthier eating habits and no soda

Looks to me like your good dad and care about your family. And that's what matters most.

That sounds like me. I had two cars when I was 13. Bought and paid for by me. I never got a new bicycle growing up, but my sister got several. I always got her hand me downs. I actually preferred girls' over boys', because the frame went down and there was a less chance of deballing yourself if you ever slid off the seat. I did finally convince my parents to buy me an old 10 speed from a neighbor for 40 bucks. But they helped my sister get two cars, the second one a new one in late 1983. They also sent her to six years of nursing school. By then, mama was sick with cancer and I knew, even though I wanted to go to school to learn physical therapy, there was no chance of that happening, so I just kinda "fell into" being a mechanic, since I had already basically been a light mechanic since I was nine in 1974. I never really enjoyed it, but I made a living at it.
