Let's do the math. A $58 filter 4 times a year x 10 year lifespan of the frig. . $2320

Depending how much it's used, that seems like a lot of change outs. I think ours was recommended for 6mo. Which seemed OK when kids were here. Wife barely uses it. I get a few glasses of water a day through ours and maybe change once a year.

Every 6 months... There's a countdown on the display panel. It's pretty close, I'll usually get about 5 or so out of it and I drink a lot of water.
