Yes they are. Woody put a slant 6, a 833 O/D and a 4.10 8 3/4 in there. It ran well and got mid 20's for mileage. Woody's was a 42. Pre war/ post war didn't change much. I love the tail pipe hanger.

That thing eats some tires

Think you need to add more rubber duck charms to the dash
But yeah, it eats suspension parts and tires like crazy. After it’s fixed today, I’m trying to sell it. Have a couple trade offers including possibly trading it for a 66 charger driving project .

My high school bud's '48 More Door still had the oe flatty and fluid-drive in it. 8 full size high school students were an easy fit in that beast for a trip to Del Taco for lunch

Hmmm so new tires put on, alignment in check. All components tested tight and good… must have just been a bad tire causing the wobble cause it gone
My F100 used to get a death wobble. No hints that it was coming before the wheel tried to tear itself free from your hands. Pull over, stop, get back underway, no wobble :wtf: :realcrazy:. I put a steering stabilizer on it, wobble never returned. Just a simple sideways mounted shock absorber on tie rods :realcrazy:

I’ve got an upgraded one, dual shocks

That would happen with Older F-100's. My 56 Ford F-100 did that until I had the Kingpins changed.

The one here yesterday, appraised at $91,000. There was lots done. Except for the shell, it was built from the ground up, full custom. 40 plymouth.

Slop n glo
Got it all scrubbed down with SOS pads and ready to finish schmearing. Just ketting it air dry. Wet sanding with 600 would really tune it up, aint nobody got time for that!

So, yes, I'm used to the heat But in a container that is outside in the sunshine, It's a little brutal. Got all four drums on the drum lathe and trued up. Very happy.

Bit of rain.

Temperature drop from 94° to 82°

Now 72° waiting on the sun to pop out and crazy humidity coming
