I really like this. How did you do it? What did you use? I need it for mine.

Its a secret…..
One part semi gloss outdoor varathane to 3 parts danish oil.
Its an experiment. Think i used 1/4 of the can of danish oil. SOS pads and a scrub then let it dry. Use a rag and smear it on, then wipe excess off. I will drag Studebaker out tomorrow and make the second video showing what i used.
I dont like linseed, dusty roads, and it needs re application too often.
Flood makes some product that is supposed to work, i couldnt get it here.
If you do that to your truck it will completely change the look of it.
Took me all day, but i think its worth it. It brought out a scroll that was really faded, now i need to figure out how to highlight it. And two bullseyes for where it was hit with high powered projectiles…

I ran an errand into town this afternoon, in the rear view there is a roof line that looks real familiar. Dart or somthin' back there I thinks. Gave the Hemi a big tap on the loud pedal. That's a Baracuda back there! Got where I could see all of it '67 Notchback. Had a bit of rumble goin' on, not a slanty  Paint was pretty ratty dark green. I gave him  Was good for a big smile on my face :D

Nice work Mitch, we used to be able to take rotors and flywheels into Napa, not sure they turn anything anymore, you're doing it yourself, sweet!
When I was in the Auto Parts business, our main store had a drum lathe and a separate flywheel grind machine. We did that work all the time for customers. The flywheel grind machine that we had was so big that we used to do the big diesel flywheels that are stepped deeply for the trash company that was nearby. Big money there. Used to charge them $100 a piece to do them. Funny story about the flywheel grinder. That thing was super heavy and we were moving it one time and my store manager got one of his fingers stuck under one of the legs when we set it down. Popped his fingertip like a grape..... Aaaaahhhh...

Good morning everyone. More storms today. The ones the other night were pretty intense. Winds came up from nowhere and were fierce. No damage here but around the neighborhood many trees and limbs down.

Deal of the week here!

I know of it. I'm clear on the other side of Charlotte. East of it. What's up?
Thanks, just curious about the area. Looking at my future, making plans and such. Not sure the heat and humidity of the southest is right for me though

Way to humid there for sure. Best all around weather for me was HI, highs 80's lows mid 70's. Always a slight breeze. Drawback is once a year you have almost a month of hard rain. Why did I sell that house!!!!!!!!
