When I was a kid, there was about a 5 year span that we didn't live in the desert. This one winter at the beach we had a really wicked storm. Couple weeks later, Easter Vacation I went to the desert to visit my bestie for the week. That same storm had got the Mighty Mojave River flowing. At the high water mark it was 20' from their back fence
Normally, it was a 1 mile hike from his house to the low flow channel.Those structures there on the left, he lived in that neighborhood.

Vintage display cabinet
Sliding glass doors on top and bottom. Small nick in upper sliding glass, pictured. 6ft Tall 4ft wide. Sliding glass is removable. Top and bottom do not separate. $50 pick up in downtown Hagerstown.

Yeah. Even I have started trying to avoid the news now. Especially anything political. It’s a hard habit to break and I’ve fallen back in a couple times recently.
I wish we could go back to 9/12/2001. Minus the death and destruction of the day before, the united we stand period was awesome. I don’t think there’s been a moment since that this country has even felt united. Hopefully we can united and get along without such an event in the future.
Heartbreaking and gut wrenching for sure.
I could use that display cabinet. Wish it wasn’t so far away.

Chilly, high 70’s today.
39 Dodge with a stroked out tree fiddy coming in for an oil leak diagnosis. That sucker runs hot, so set up a fan and go for brekkie.
Then cut more grass this afternoon.
Hoping one day i can attend Carlisle, its on my bucket list since the first mention of it here years ago.

Here's a couple of pics of the progress on the Duster down at D&L restoration, new radiator core support and floor pan. There's a pic in there that shows how much of a "boat" the floor pan was lol!
Damn, a mosquito followed me into the house. Its a bad year for them. Seems to help if i keep the grass short, but i have been slacking.
We get lots of people from Canada down here at Carlisle, Frank.

Time to get, have to drive to Redmond for training, 1 hr safety tng then bucket truck rescue out back, woo hoo not! Would rather be headed to Carlisle! Have fun there for those going and have a Great Day All!
