Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning all hot here in Kansas with little to no rain the past month. Keeping the lawn somewhat green is getting expensive. If it wasn't for the flower beds I'd just let it turn brown. Been busy finished all the work and whatnot at the MNL's house Cheryl and I did it all her brother didn't do chit. That's ok Cheryl is the trustee and after talking to the trust attorney when she closes out the accounts, she as the trustee is going to write herself a nice check for time and mileage. Brother can't say squat because mom put a provision in that any expense challenged would forfeit your share of the trust. My ex and I are about done with my daughter's house and hope to have it on the market next week. Daughter who moved four hours away was stressed out trying to get the house ready to sell so we agreed we'd just do it. All she has to do is talk and sign paperwork with the relator. Then with all that we've had three grandkids staying with us the last three weeks. Tuesday, we fly them and us to Florida and turn them back over to the parents (my two daughters) with five days at the beach. They all leave, and we stay a couple extra days. Never a slow day here!!

There's clean, and then there's Chlorine gas clean.....

AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (WVIR) - Multiple units responded to a home in Augusta County after the homeowner accidentally mixed bleach and vinegar in their washing machine, creating dangerous chlorine gas, Wednesday, July 16.

Multiple units were dispatched to a hazardous material incident off Buffalo Gap Hwy in Swoope.
Go Team Darwin!

It's pouring buckets here. I couldn't sleep through all the thunder. Some of it was close.
Lightning got some unfortunate folks in S.Jersey the other day. No warning - first strike.
They can go for big bucks
How many threw those away or dry rotted out
Had no idea they were that much.
Me neither, but makes sense for the show/original
we had one in the '67 OHC Firebird - but that thing needed it with it's miniature trunk. Even smaller than the camaro's.
Is that right? But a yearly inspection?
Yup. Yearly inspection. One reason I haven't bothered with classic plates. It does save on the yearly registration fee so after 3 years you break even.

We sold everything and of course cave a few things away to elderly ladies thrift shopping in the heat, all gone by 9:45 am set up completed by 5:10 am, my cooler my son @MeMikieJr gifted to me on Fathers day proved to be Most excellent, gusto a couple hands full of ice done the job, thank you son.

Good morning Coffee crew, at 97 yesterday, was glad my day was over after the 90 minute drive home, preparing Victoria for a race day Sunday for the big George Rays birthday Bash.. life is good.

First read the label?
There are a couple of very common household fluids that when mixed together create a very unstable explosive  . I made the mistake of mentioning that to a classmate in my college Chem class on a lab day :BangHead: We had the chemicals right there on the tables before us. He mixed it up, the sediment that resulted is the unstable combination so he took filter paper and collected the sediment, hung it up on the wall of the lab behind him to dry :realcrazy:. Some of the material fell to the floor while still wet and dried. A female classmate was walking across the lab, unknowingly stepped on that unstable substance and it blew the heel off of her shoe . I never saw that warning on either of those household chemicals
