Ugh I can’t believe I’m saying this but I now own a Chevy truck…

Price was too good (1200) for a rust free, 4x4 Chevy from my father in law. 143,000 miles. Dealer maintained. Has a v6 is my only complaint but hey it works.

Can't say anything bad about my 08, I have put 40 thousand miles on him in the last going on 4 years, wife and sons said it was time for me to get out of my Ramchargers and old dodge truck and into something safer, 152.000 miles on old Blue Boy

Yep, in a perfect world we would all drive Dodges. I looked all over creation for a nice Dakota when I needed one but pulled the trigger on this Colorado. It has 180,000 on it but is in pretty good shape and works well for me.

Good looking rig Toolman, year model?

Ain't to crazy about the 2019 and up body, and I think the 20 models have an Isuzu motor in them, my memory ait lit yet

it's an 06' Z71 4X4. It has that inline 5 cylinder that really runs well. Auto transmixer of course.

When we added the brat to the family my Yota 4x4 just didn't have enough room, in the cab that is  I went club cab shopping. MoFoCos were just plain ugly  Dodges weren't bad until I drove it and it just didn't fit me. Let's look at GM  GMC was the better lookin' of the 2 and more comfy than the bowtie and that 4.3 V6 and 5 spd ran circles round their V8 auto combo. My Dad gave me grief when I showed up at his place in Az., long time MoFoCo owner he was. "Have you seen the new Ferds lately?" I asked him. "You made a good choice ".

Alright!! Yep, you got a good one from what our grain elevator and farmers are saying, I see them a bunch out towards the flat land and near Black River, and a dent doctor friend of mine has nearly 300 thousand on his service vehicle, its wrapped and he is a two man operation doing realy good, he says he wished he had two. Did good I bet on your 4x4 deal.

I hadn't heard much about that 5 cyl. A friend works at the local Chevy dealer in the service dept. and submit's warranty claims. She said that engine was a good one with very few repairs.

I was hoping you had the 5 cylinder, its been a hit here for the farmers that know a good engine (I think they must get the heads up on anything like this) before this truck seems like it was the 2001 Ram 318 , 5.2 they all wanted.

It has been years since I owned a full size pick up. I get along well with the mid sized like mine. Ted, my whisky drinking buddy has a Nissan and I think mine is better. It rides nicer and is more quiet. I wouldn't be without a truck. Gotta' haul stuff and it pulls my trailer with the lawn mowers loaded like it's not back there. .

Only passenger car I ever drove daily was the Swinger. Of course there was that issue with my right leg being in a brace for 6 weeks after the knee explosion had some influence on that

Just got home from my weekly whippin. Gotta crawl back under the deck today and install a new water line heat cord.....Not to hot out today though....

Morning!
Freakin cold here.
Last day here, airplane tomorrow.
Try and catch the car show. Taxi downtown as there is no parking near it at all

Morning all, coolish morning here, wind blew the smoke out of the area. Second cup in the cup and watching the hummingbirds buzz around.

Just got done working out here. Had some oatmeal and a banana. I was going to spray some more weed killer but looking like we will have some more rain today. I guess I’ll push it to tomorrow
