The local weatherman just commented on the wildfire haze here in Iowa and put up a map of the fires. Damn, no wonder why it's smoky here. View attachment 1716436465
Im up a tad and to the right of winnipeg. Like the closest fireball to the city. The fire here is still considered active. Peat moss is still burning, being monitored.

hot water tank is toast. Called plumber, he said go buy one. He came and swapped it out, so its done. Went from 60 to 40 galloons. He did it for free. Mainly because he didnt have to yoink the old sediment filled tank up the stairs. I think i have a plan. It will involve 3 people other than me

That’s not as bad.

Mary Hulman George has to be spinning in her grave though. Again.
I think it's good to have that external investment... and the associated.advertising.

It'll be interesting to see what other entertainment options that maybe come up. Not sure if they have concerts or other non- motor sports activities there?

They do a few things. They used to do a Christmas light display but when Roger bought it, he stopped that.

They do have the National 3S gathering there and they’ve let the local Guard units run the track.

Its the amperage requirement.the buried line supply is to 100 amp panel. Im maxed out as is.

I agree, if i could have i would have.

On a well that's problematic because it'll build sediment quickly.. and the tankless really need a source of fire for rapid heating. Electric is slow
Yep. But that’s why I’m doing propane ones.

Lost electricity out here in the sticks, I forgot how nice it is at night with out the led street light I had installed 5 years ago.
