Stop in for a cup of coffee

Been working on the Cuda project today. I adjusted the end play in the axles for the differential. I assembled all the brakes and adjusted them for the drums. I'm going to take the nasty tires and wheels that were on it and dismount them. I have some tires that MoparTim gave me to mount on the wheels after I paint them. Not that I'm going to use them later. I just want it to look a little better for now and as rollers.

Looking good Mitch..

Did some pounding and filling today on the 63 and took me 5 hours to get this much done. Remember this was a convertible car. Hard top and new 1/4s welded on so took some time to get it straight enough to mud it up and it is straight now..

Amazing. Probably harder to do than to turn a 4 door into a 2 door.

Fred, What size and what kind of block did you use to sand ?

Hear ya go Mitch, I use a few blocks and the Dura Block is the one I use the most. The white block is good for doing roofs and round areas like a VW bug fenders because it bends. Round block and soft blocks. Soft blocks is pretty much what you use to finish sand the primer just before paint. A hard block is not a good idea when you are sanding primer the last time before paint.

Al those look like they came off my tool truck. I stocked them all.

Hoppy is the one that was asking me about my Capt. I contacted him and gave the info to Ray. Capt. says middle or end of Sept. but no solid date yet. His weekends are booked, so waiting for Hoppy to respond with a date choice.....
Hoppy mentioned planning something while we were at Carlisle and asked if I’d be game. Definitely count me in
