Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
My co-worker was at The Shoe with his family, one kid and his wife were wearing Seahawks Jaxon Smith-Njigba shirts and were getting a lot of thumbs up

Well late breakfast. So mini Cheddaer dogs, backed beans and a springle of Parmesan cheese .
I'm in for the rest of the day.

My engine builder has asked for some additional parts, windage tray I told him I had, oil pan, timing cover and harmonic balancer. He's telling me he has to make sure the "rubber part" is good on the balancer? I asked him just to see if he knew if the engine was internally or externally balanced and he didn't know, said he'd have to look it up. Guy has a ton of experience and good reviews, just not that many Mopars I don't think. I believe the 68 is internally balanced and I see no rubber or two parts on the balancer.

All that chatter about burning tires this morning reminded me of a desert activity of my youth. The Barstow-Vegas Race, a desert race for motorcicles not unusual for 1000 or more participants. Across the Mojave Desert ending near Las Vegas. They lined the riders up next to each other where they waited for the starting signal, the lighting of a huge stack of tires at the beginning of the race course a couple miles away from the starting line.
