I was up at Upper Baker on Glover Mountain, a bump of a hill really but they're putting a new communications tower up, felt bad for those guys, crane, two-man bucket lift with a tarp that wasn't working so well. Every now and then they'd push that tarp up and dump a few gallons off of it. Don't know if we can get up there today with the Skagit River over it's banks, we'll see.

My mom made the worst meatloaf. To this day if ground beef and onions are cooked together i refuse to eat it.

The recipe I used must have been pretty good. We all had seconds. It's gone!
Just remember, don't let your meat loaf!

Thread '2026 Power Tour—- Mopars on the Mother Road?'

Route 66 turns 100!!!

Hot Rod power tour is starting in Joliet Illinois and running Route 66 to Tulsa, Oklahoma. June 8-12.

I’m going. Anyone wanna get a convoy of Mopars together to travel the Mother Road together? I’ll be taking part in the official Tour, and then I’m planning to make the run west from Tulsa to Flagstaff, Arizona before turning back east and heading home.

Tour packages are NOT required unless you want the goodie bags. Tickets go on sale after Christmas for the official packages.

Reservation wise, hotels are obvious option but I’m going to camp again at state...

We have plenty of room for cars trucks semis or trailers we can accommodate multiple overnight guests, a cold beer or some good whiskey is the only fee for overnight camping. I bet they get outside today, going to be a dandy December 11th to enjoy outside, but first I have my 45 day check up, seeing doctor today instead of nurse practitioner.

I saw that many DAILY high tempacher records were set in the southwest yesterday, 81° here yesterday, don't know if that was a new record or not. They're guessing 83° for today.

We are have the normal 55 degree days till Saturday, drops in to the 20 and high teens at night..
