Shower time. Ted and I are traveling to Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin to pick up a couple bottles we helped pick last month. It's always a fun trip and Starks is a sport shop that sells beer, booze, fishing tackle, and guns. What's not to like?

Ih, they sell fishing boats too.

Morning from snowy southwest Colorado. Hit early and snowing pretty good for now. Me and the dogs had a nice walk, wife unit came with us this time, dogs had fun in the snow.

Glad that doesn't happen here.....well, not very often at least. Hate it when the temps are in the mid to high 70's and nice then hit the low 40's and windy and wet.

So far at my stage in life, I like the pause and tranquility of winter. But it’s a bit too long

Sitting outside when its quiet at night i hear the ice “drumming” sometimes it makes eerie sounds like chirping. Other times it goes boom when the ice gets thicker.

Made it to shop, fire is going, diesel heater is ripping, i think i could cook a chicken with that thing. Right side wheels off, treated some surface rust, waiting to paint it.

The yellow area in the central was upgraded after getting a pretty good snow dump. We've had rain but its been heavy and for short periods so most of it runs off and doesn't soak in

I grew up (until I was 12) in Masshole and remember hearing the ice making noises. Made ya want to get off of it when ice skating whenever hearing a loud pop.
