   There's a black Chevy Short box driving up the street. All jacked up with monster meats. Obvious he doesn't have it in 4wd. and it doesn't have Posi. One wheel peel all the way up the hill. I was wondering if he was going to make it.:rofl:

 bet his eyes were as wide as dinner plates.

hence why i suggested the factory retrofit
I would like AC but until I find a kit it probably won't happen. Someone needs specific compressor brackets for the Poly. That application would cover a few years. The factory heater is a goofy system. I need to pull mine and see if it needs a heater core. I had a leak. I can't imagine the factory AC system would be simpler. The aftermarket systems are modern with conditioned defrost and the like. Also designed for 134a. Those small compressors are efficient, lightweight, and quiet.

Well I'll put it like this. Its simple enough that Sparky figured it out and got it working.

And yes, the poly takes specific brackets to mount the FACTORY AC compressor. HOWEVER, you can find them rather easily. There's a junkyard that has several in them near me, I can grab one for you next time I go. You'll probably need that whether you go with an aftermarket system or not.

Also.... Just so you know, an LA bracket will bolt on. You'd have to play with pulley spacers to get it aligned with the rest of the system, but it is do able. I ran it on my poly until I found the right brackets.

Quick trip to AAA for DMV renewal purposes was completed. Then the Hemi Express decided I needed a breakfast burrito  . To keep that stand alone A/C unit happy would probably take an additional battery and a Peterbilt alternator for that kind of amp draw .

Freezing rain made my first plane late. So, I missed my connection. Hanging out in SLC, for 10hrs
