Stop in for a cup of coffee

started off the day with a double filter overflow. Coffee has some extra grit aka had to leave a 1/4 of the cup.

very slow at work. looking up ice fishing stuff all day.

Al on Today Show admitted they sorta missed the weather forecast, but great it wasn't as bad as they thought it would be. still plenty of snow in areas!???? LOL
 
I still have a lot of family all over Long Island and they were spot on. You know what they could have under predicted and it would have turned out like Katrina did. Where I am here it was over predicted, but how do you predict what mother nature wants to do? Look at the cup is full side of it. Most have a full tank of gas, extra food, a day off, how did it hurt except for the next time maybe the cry wolf effect kicks in.
 
Good morning, trying something new, coffee and laptop on a tray, me staying warm under the covers.

Good news, my fancy NEW computer is fixed. A tech guy accessed it remotely (!) and in no time had all the glitches straightened out. He had me on the phone and it was amazing how quickly he could figure out what to do, and do it. My hat's off to these young folks who do this, it was a big eye-opener.

Now I can get the trading platform downloaded and get my brain trained haha!

My oldest son does computer repairs and tech support. Amazing the things he can do.
 
My kid does video games and chat rooms, amazing if he did what he is capable of doing!

My youngest one is there too....on his home built desktop computer. I understand it is very fast (but it can't be faster than our internet)
 
Good Mornin! Another day to be alive. I think I'll do something about it.
 
patio thermometer says 42 degrees right now and it feels great outside ...no wind just totally calm and nice.

Even the cows are happy this morning. I suppose when your a cow you have to enjoy every minute before you become a jar of Elmer's glue
 
After I read what I wrote it almost sounds like I want to end my life....geesh I was meaning since I am alive I need to go do something....something positive.

yup, I would have been crazy not to.

That is probably my score of the year and I didn't even know it at first.

I have had an overwhelming amount of offers on the ammo that I guess it must be good stuff. When the guy first brought it to the table I was hesitant because I don't really know much about it and I am not a gun person. Around here its the norm that every time I have a car for sale some cat will show up with a trunk full of ammo and guns trying to trade.

I wont trade for guns themselves because I don't want to risk getting in trouble because I don't know where they have been.
 
Ammo right now is at a premium if you can find it. The ones you want are 9mm, 223, 7.62 and my favorite 45 acp. Then you get into the whole ammo collector's realm that want stuff in boxes from the 1960's and back. Here in PA you have to register the guns to possess them legally. I think it is like a 25 fee if I remember right. I have asked about a couple that have been in the family from the time you could go to the hardware store and just walk out with it and never received a good answer on what to do.
 
Ha ha no worries here kids! I am a lover of life...I usually laugh all day and have others laughing. Some of the corrections officers call me mister happy.

Rani I think you are wise not to take guns on trade.
 
Everyone makes a post mistake sometimes! My worst one was a comment when I did not know Rani was a woman!
 

I am in the same boat Ray. I have one I wouldn't shoot no matter no way but should it be registered. It laid in the barn for years.
 
Yeah I felt like crap for a while about that one. One other I did was kind of funny on a homebrew site people were asking me what I use for the hops (fertilizer) And I answered sheep. At the time we had some. I still get ribbed about that one.

wouldn't it be cool if some people did the ultimate simple build and built a car that no one wants.

meaning with all the parts that people never appreciate and usually toss

Slant six, 3 speed manual, deluxe wheel covers, white wall tires, 7 1/4

Its amazing that smple stuff like the deluxe wheel covers.....someone actually paid more for those when they were new and now most people toss them.

I bet I could build a whole a car with stuff on my "junk" pile

I have seen some of Rani's post and I sometimes wonder myself and I know her a little bit. I can't remember which thread it was but it was one I am sure was on the Blue forum or should have been and there was Rani with some crazy comment.

Did you know Rani means Princess?
