Morning Guys.... Any Idea how hard it is to adjust doors and windows by yourself ? Probably spent 3 hrs yesterday fiddlin with em. Must be the perfectionist in me...I'm happy with them now... Gonna pull the fenders out today , for Monday install.
better then me, took me several days of trying to get the door aligned on my stealth

Just some showers...and it looks like only until 10 am...then Sunny and windy..

and I need advice. the frame rail on my 74 dart is rusted out right under the upper control arm mounts, Carl Gerst made me new mounts out of .25 steel, was gonna use those, but I have this 70 dart here, so i was just gonna swap the frame rails instead. however, I went to cut the 70 rail out and tapped along the frame with a body hammer..... its rusted out and very weak as well. So back to the fabbed mounts, but im thinking of making a cap for my 74 rails, kind of a U shape out of 1/8th steel, then tie it to the fabbed UCA mounts, then tie that to the roll cage bar that'll be running thru the engine bay, thoughts?

To be honest... I do feel like I was lucky it didn't involve more time, since the doors were not the originals. I remember taking DAYS to get the doors right on the RR Restoration.

that was my problem with the stealth, the door came from a donor

The more door was fun after the rear skins went on, you cannot get 4 door skins only 2 door and have to cut them down. That sucked for sure, never again for me.

I actually have some door hinge shims from the belve if any one needs them never saw any before.

Marilyn definitely needs one, that truck does sit high, looks like a factory? lift was put in maybe 2" or so.
