If I Dropped the motor the header will definitely hit the pass side. Oh the joys of shoehorning a 440 in a dart! All because of a crappy valve cover also! Do like the look of these much better though.

I think the fan fills that space inside, so would have to change that. Probably be less air moved then unless new motor has higher RPM

yea - I am also figuring on the smaller motor/fan Ray is after - he'll probably have to adjust that fan mount area anyway..

Get different Valve covers. A lot of worry and aggravation to make an aftermarket part fit. Isn't that when your problem started? Get the low profile Valve covers.

I would have to see it to understand the issue. But why not modify the valve cover? Aluminum, right? Just get someone that can do TIG...

Mine it will not work on totally different animal. Well no go locally think I will just order that one from ebay.

And no I like the covers the way they are, worse comes to worse just make a heater delete plate.
