BOOStill no start on my GTS 383 this morning..
Looks like it has spark.. but looks a little weak to me... Has a pertronix unit in the dist.
So.... I pulled all the plugs... PIA...and cleaned em all up...they were all wet with fuel...
Cranked the engine with no plugs... got fuel flyin out of #7 and #8 since they are down hill...
Got other Honey do's to do .. so I'll let it dry out real good and put the plugs back in tomorrow....
AS Well it Should !! I'm gonna use em on the 400 stroker I will build for the 65 Belve...

It's all my fault...When I went to start it yesterday, I merely Reached in and turned the key on... Then , using a remote switch, I start from under the hood , so I can monitor everything...After it didn't fire .. I looked inside..and the oil light was not lit... Meaning I had no juice to the coil... Cycled the key a few times and got light... But I think I had already flooded it pretty bad... I'll know tomorrow , if the problem is deeper...

the trick flow heads out flow the RPM heads by almost 70 cfm....
not huh? - just huh. - not an upgrade you'll see me jumping on anytime soon...
Yeah, I'm thinking them heads alone were more than my entire long block! Not an option for this guy! Would be cool though!
When you make waffles, use a mix that requires you to add oil, eggs, etc. separate the yolks from the whites, beat the whites until stiff and fold them into the rest of the batter.. Makes the fluffiest, most badass waffles.. Kinda like a funnel cake had sex with a pancake..
I'd actually prefer that nothing had sex with my pancakes.

Yeah but ive been planning on aftermarket heads all along. I've got couple options but I just dont know whether i want to put chinese heads on my block or go good ole american made
yea - that too - mine already has Edelbrock aluminum heads on it - and they are staying there!
I feel ya, I tossed around that idea myself. But then decided to tame it down a bit. The slightly worked factory head was going to be more than enough for the purpose of this car. I am looking forward to seeing the progress of your build. Should be a hell of a fun ride!
