Unless you do a Superbird cone nose, these things ain't gonna be aerodynamic...About as aerodynamic as a piece of plywood in the wind. Either one.
it does - but these cars certainly weren't designed with aerodynamics in mind...Shouldn't the air go through the grille? My grille is just an open plastic grid. As long as there is as much open space as face of radiator, it should not matter.
ahhh the Dartbird!!! remember that abomination!?Unless you do a Superbird cone nose, these things ain't gonna be aerodynamic...

yeah lolAbout as aerodynamic as a piece of plywood in the wind. Either one.
right but it hits the flat surface of the core supportShouldn't the air go through the grille? My grille is just an open plastic grid. As long as there is as much open space as face of radiator, it should not matter.
Yep, there is a Barracuda with nose in my area I saw at a show last year. Better than the Dart, but why?...ahhh the Dartbird!!! remember that abomination!?![]()
unless you plan to go over 130-140mph - there is no needYep, there is a Barracuda with nose in my area I saw at a show last year. Better than the Dart, but why?...
So, the real improvement would be to funnel that air through the rad. Otherwise you guy with the 27 row super size aluminum might as well use a heater core in there. lolright but it hits the flat surface of the core support
thats what i was thinking actuallySo, the real improvement would be to funnel that air through the rad. Otherwise you guy with the 27 row super size aluminum might as well use a heater core in there. lol
what rad is in thereI actually have an original spec unit that I was going to use in my last car - and if the Scamp didn't have the aluminum one in there when I bought it, I doubt I would have spent the coin..
like I said the other day - I think it is a Griffin aluminum..what rad is in there
thats what i thought, couldnt remember.like I said the other day - I think it is a Griffin aluminum..
Well, I was kinda doin aeh - aluminum is lighter, and if you believe that they don't do a better job by virtue of the opening for air intake is the same - then simply that they are lighter and they don't rust is enough reason to get one...
... Alum is lighter, but original brass don't rust.LOL - yea, I know... I mighta been kindaWell, I was kinda doin a... Alum is lighter, but original brass don't rust.
back...
got ya That's the first place local that I've even seen with them on the menu!boo hiss - find a place that uses boneless wings..
Around here it's chicken (or turkey) in gravy on waffles. Never had the fried chix w/syrup on them.Well had my first chicken and waffles experience. Gotta say, pretty darn good! Not a big wing fan,(lot of work for the amount of meat) but man were they tasty!
