so true! RAW ground sirloin?

Any germs would only be on the outside of the meat. Those are destroyed by cooking. If you cut the meat and grind it yourself because already ground has any bad stuff from the outside mixed in, that's why they say cook it to 165. I wouldn't eat raw hamburger from the package, just to be safe.

Mike, otherwise known as steak tartare. Some people put a little worchestershire and an egg yolk in it. Dang now I am craving it.

Yes sir but only good ground sirloin. Every good Jewish deli used to offer it.
huh - just huh.

Raw oysters, makes me think of my Dad, and miss him. He and his best friend would get oysters themselves, I went with them once and the dinghy was so full with us in it there was only a few inches of freeboard. We had a rusty old fridge in the carport just for oysters, and beer and coke. Dad could shuck oysters as fast and easily as anyone I've ever seen. When we had parties I would just stay next to him and keep eating oysters as fast as he could pass them to me. Wish I could talk to him now because he still remembered things like that.

Liver and onions
I prefer medium for my steak, but will take it pretty rare-not raw. Not a fan of oysters, but most any other seafood I like.

Carbonated soft drinks. What's your preference.

Dr. Pepper. Again it goes back to when I was a little kid, my Dad found a patient man to teach my Mom how to drive, I rode along, we'd stop and "Bud" would get me a Dr. Pepper for being well-behaved.
