Stop in for a cup of coffee

I've got the underside of the Dart to bare-ish metal. I'd love to base/clear it like i intend the rest of the car. But I'd also like to protect/maybe undercoat it.. car will be daily driver in Texas (minimal road salt).. what do you guys recommend?
Spray Rhino liner on it.

Of course, you could still do base/cleat and then spray it with plasti-dip. It's rubberized paint that can be peeled off later to reveal the good paint underneath and then re-sprayed again as many times as you'd like. A lot of guys on the Modern Charger Forums spray it on their cars for driving to car shows or protecting the body paint during winter.

what guns? do you have a warrant?
LOL!

Years ago, the NRA called me looking to get me to join. The guy introduced himself and after his speech he said "Do you own any guns?"

After a moment of silence I said "Are you stupid?"

He sat in silence for a moment and said "Oooooh, I get it."

I replied "Apparently not...and now you don't get me for a member."

Then I hung up.

eh, I was gifted a life membership at the age of 18.... at this point, they know where I stand lol

I've been Lifetime Member since 1980...They need the support...
Yeah, but they don't need to know if I have any guns for me to support them...and I certainly wouldn't answer the question if they asked.

If I did support them, I wouldn't say so...I just support the National Sling Shot Association.

yeah, ive got to replace a section of rear rail too. Should be very fun. I'm thinking POR15 the hell out of everything inside the car. I just know I have to make some progress this spring on the car.
I have a 3' piece of rail...I almost sold it to the Boy in Pittsburgh TY I believe his name was. I am not sure what side it is...Cheap

hmmm may take you up on that, i was thinking of just getting some 2x3 box tubing and going that route

The trick to playing politics is to never let anyone know you are playing politics.

It's like hunting squirrels, the trick is to never let them know they are being hunted.

A good friend of mine uses the same approach when deer hunting. He walks loudly into the woods in blue jeans and a red flannel shirt, leans against a tree to eat a ham and cheese sandwich with spicy mustard and then smokes a cigarette. The deer know he's there and think "Just a tourist, no hunter there".

Every year, he brings back the biggest buck back to camp.

I have little trust for organizations, just saying.

The rain stopped this afternoon, waxed the Fury, hood/trunk/roof. Dark green paint from that era seems to oxidize badly, I'm sure there is a reason.

I had a local shop fold me up a couple pieces to make a rail, they couldn't fold that gauge narrow enough to make it one piece. So it's 2 pieces welded along the bottom length. Something like $25 worth of mat's and them bending it.

Being 40+ year old paint doesn't help much either. Best way to keep it alive is to get it buffed to a mirror shine to reduce the surface area of the finish and then keep waxing it to keep it protected from the oxidation!
