Stop in for a cup of coffee

That's still near the top of my needed items list. I don't want a new, perfect chrome one that won't match the rest of the car. Had one lined up last year but the guy seems to have disappeared.
Keith

There was an ad on here yesterday and he was parting out a 75 more door and saw he had it. 50 shipped. I thought it was a good deal. The car looked pretty god to me.

Nice shop Mike. Do your lights hang down? Looks like you have a 16" ceiling like mine and it seems the florescent lights need to be lower.

I wish it was my shop :coffee2: My son and I are clearing tree's and going to build a 30 by 50 like it but with a single door to drive out the other end :color: Can't wait

That sounds killer. Do yourself a favor INSULATE it before using it, even something on the ceiling to reflect the heat back out in the summer is helpful. Mine is 42x44 and it is inside an old rock foundation from the original barn so a back door was not an option.

INSULATE !! Don't you know it, it will get it top and bottom for sure :D

Look into the spray foam, works great and a little cheaper. I bid batts and 5/8 particle board up to the rafters and now I need to do the top. I am thinking of using that 4' 150' roll insulation that has foil on both sides because I can just staple it to the underside of the rafters and it is easy to do. Just have to rent a high reach for a day.

One other thing I was thinking of that I did was have the floor poured thicker 12" in two spots if you ever get a lift, and also run some conduit under the slab to add wires later. Boy am I talkative today!

Spray foam is what my son said aswell  and I have the RedLine lift on the list of where the $$ going :glasses7: Yep I am pumped and this is why I can't fall back to sleep at night :D thinking and dreaming of the day this spring when I can pull Victoria in or my Ramchargers for some work  You are the first to know unless you seen my wall FB,, of all the things I an going to be doing :D

Here is what I have now, love it, That little pot belly stove works great in the 24 X 12 Bald Eagle barn that keeps Victoria safe

If I was still working the lift would be in. I am lucky though my bud across the street has a shop with 5 lifts and I can use one when it is free. Kind of nice also if I need parts in a hurry advance will deliver them there. Plus he is a doge guy.

I did see that. Doesnt look like style i have.

That's what I have, he sent me a pic and it looks the same but for the right side. Do you have the rocker moldings? If so does the factory use screws on either end along with the impossible to find clips?

I already made several posts this morning, but hadn't comitted to getting up till now. Got my first couple sips - no turning back now. LOL Suns up and it's above freezing.at a little after 7, AND the weatherman s looking for a high of 50! That's a heat wave compared to what it's been lately.

Mine never had rocker moldings. That does sound about right though. I guess they didn't trust the clips (smart move). The molding behind my canopy top has one at each end.

Howdy fellas! Got called into work on a backed up plumbing stack at six this morning and just finished up that job. Nothing better then clearing poop before sunrise on a Sunday!

I hear that  A friend with a lift is a friend indeed :D and him being a MoPar man is a big plus, My friend just 1/2 the way the crow flies has on and he did my new rear spring install for me and we use the barder system all the time
Red Line has a great lift for $1.700 we are looking at, it's a 9.000 lb system , I remember we could not touch these lifts for under 3 grand..

Yeah a lift is a great thing. You can get a bendpac here used for around 1000, I have the height for it just not the cash. Really getting to old to work on the floor.

I have just never had the opportunity to look at one with it. The guy I got the car from used a bunch of wood screws in various places and would not doubt he put the holes in, the clips are crap.

Same here (to old and broke) My son builds houses and Barns (his own co.) and I told him if he wants to build a shop on my property I would give him the section to my west to build on, so it is in the works as we chat  Trees are down and now going to get to play with a cool little toy on tracks and dig up a few stumps :D
