Hey I found a great pair of hubcaps on e bay yesterday, I plan on painting them the same parchment the car is. I know they are not the right year for the car but I think they will work for me. Here is a link since I cannot just post a pic.

I like to move cars around the yard at night ....people tend to stare like they have never seen someone pushing or pulling a car before, either by hand or with the truck. I don't even like my own family around when I am getting gritty, I don't need any help and there is nothing to see here is basically my attitude. Not sure why but I like to do stuff when no one is around and no one knows what I am doing. :violent2:

I think they are kind of cool, got them for 45 and 10 shipping. I was leaning to trim rings and center caps then saw those.

yes and those are some cool wheel covers.
finally I find someone else who likes and uses wheel covers. I like my deluxe wheel covers on my dart. Someone actually paid more for deluxe style when it was new and now most people toss them.
There is a great set of factory spokes on there, but they weigh a ton, like 10lb each.
I have to ask this what is the difference between hubcaps and wheel covers?
I use my little tractor with a front end loader. I can't pick the car up but I can get it light enough to steer it with the tractor. I have a guy down the road who always wants to help. We were bringing one up out of the lower field and it would not roll. I shouted is it out of gear? He shook his head yes and I dug the yard up all the way up the hill. We got to the top and I said it is still in gear! He said oh I thought you were saying something about the rear and I was just agreeing...it wasn't turning!

hub caps are the little ones that only cover the hub ....also known as dog dishes.
wheel covers cover the whole steel wheel.
So that's the way you plow up their! Some people have no sense.

I don't like to push cars with the truck because it seems something always gets bent or dented. so I try pull only with truck and I have a chain with a "J" hook on each side.
What I do also is when I have to push.....I put the truck right behind the car I am pushing so I can get between them and push, using the truck as something solid to push off of.
I have to run to the PO and mail those tank lock rings out. Have a good one all!

I prefer dog dish hub caps over "wheel covers" as the wheel covers tend to rotate on the rim over time and have cracked my valve stems a few times. That's why I like dog dish caps better.... :banghead:

Kind of late getting up on the west coast today. Horrendous storm last night kept waking us up. Sounded like the world was coming to an end! Cold and calm this morning nd slept later than I have in months. Time to go out and check on the trees and limbs.

Morning from the west coast FABO! Going to powdercoat my Eddy D4B3 intake today and my set of Cal Custom valve covers. Then tomorrow I will paint the dash pad of the Barracuda. Have the dash ready for paint but my vendor let me down on the paint so I will work on my taillight refurbish instead. Unseasonably wet and warm in the PNW but no complaining here as long as we dont get a late February arctic blast
