hey i am learning that I have much to learn. honestly, I'm not kidding when i say it'll look like the space shuttle. I'm going to have a gauge/warning light for everything you can think of on the car.
@halifaxhops can i wire a warning light AND a buzzer to it?

It's a vertical system in the basement with a 5 ton AC. 3 guys working on it and they seem to be pretty good. I've only had to tell them "no" once so far when they were trying to cut corners to make the install easier for them.I use to install HVAC systems , is it a Vertical or horizontal unit D ? Up in the addict or a closet unit ? Enjoy the company

Yep. Cheaper in the long run to just do it now instead of trying to fight with crappy heat exchangers needing to be replaced every couple of years. That, and I can correct some of the things that were done wrong with the original install.

Bitching betty really loud, yells out the issue with usually a master caution light and also the issue light, at least on the aircraft I worked on.
Got that two years a go from Mitch's protégé at Carlisle, did the switches in it, hell it was a $5 wheel in bad shape.
Screw that a cattle prod mounted in the seat!
all the stuff your mounting in there you might seriously look at a race car wheel with all the switches.
Time to get moving let me know when and if you are going to do this and I can walk you through it.

If you are going to do all of that, you might as well adapt a modern Mopar PCM with OBDII and 8.4" LCD display that can monitor everything and warn when faults are detected. It will also monitor and display all operating parameters, pressures, temperatures and capacity levels from the number of pints of fuel to the tire pressure.
If he does go obd II they make HUD units for them also now that would be cool.
