Stop in for a cup of coffee

That was one of the things holding up using the pop, super paranoid about another fire.

Speaking of valve covers been fighting a leak on the drivers side rear forever, used all types of gaskets and valve covers, finally took it off again and put a straight edge on the head, dam thing had a tiny bump of casting flash sticking up where it seals, honed it down and now the leak is gone, finally!
nice, easy fix. i may do the same thing on my 408, its got the same issue. Even tried RTV and Right Stuff. nothing has sealed it yet, right by one of the bolts that hold it down.

Just get a course honing stone takes it down even.

Good morning folks! The HVAC guys have been at it for over an hour here tearing out the old system and I'm watching everything they do to make sure they're doing it right.

Helluva a way to spend a day off...

so you decided on complete replacement?

onboard fire suspression systems are cheap(ish) and a battery kill switch is a must
Have the kill switch and the suppression ring in the engine bay is in the works. Freaking Halon is $$$$$$ Prob use a flash detector to give me a warning of a fire like a aircraft. Then manually fire it from the drivers seat. Have to figure out how many pounds I want to use thinking 10. Be cool to have a fire handle that lights but that is a dream.

Easy from a oil burner the photovoltaic sensor for the flame, they make a lot of different sizes also, thinking three of them one on each side and one in the back.

Open or closed circuit, voltage does not matter think of a switch. Not a lot of amperage though prob have to go through a relay, but yes 12v it will work on.
