what did we learn this week....Not bad, didn't make friday because of the filter.
NEVER EVER EVER put a glass filter on a car no matter how cool it looks.

nice, easy fix. i may do the same thing on my 408, its got the same issue. Even tried RTV and Right Stuff. nothing has sealed it yet, right by one of the bolts that hold it down.Speaking of valve covers been fighting a leak on the drivers side rear forever, used all types of gaskets and valve covers, finally took it off again and put a straight edge on the head, dam thing had a tiny bump of casting flash sticking up where it seals, honed it down and now the leak is gone, finally!
Hey I have a spectra glass by the carb and a spin on filter type by the tank, no issues (so far)what did we learn this week....

onboard fire suspression systems are cheap(ish) and a battery kill switch is a mustThat was one of the things holding up using the pop, super paranoid about another fire.
That if it makes me mad put the filter back on and run it about 75-80.what did we learn this week....

I use to install HVAC systems , is it a Vertical or horizontal unit D ? Up in the addict or a closet unit ? Enjoy the companyGood morning folks! The HVAC guys have been at it for over an hour here tearing out the old system and I'm watching everything they do to make sure they're doing it right.
Helluva a way to spend a day off...

Have the kill switch and the suppression ring in the engine bay is in the works. Freaking Halon is $$$$$$ Prob use a flash detector to give me a warning of a fire like a aircraft. Then manually fire it from the drivers seat. Have to figure out how many pounds I want to use thinking 10. Be cool to have a fire handle that lights but that is a dream.onboard fire suspression systems are cheap(ish) and a battery kill switch is a must
